Kirsten was born in Point Pleasant New Jersey on April 30th,
1982. Inez, her mother, is an artist, and her father is a medical
services executive. She has one brother, named Christian. As a
child, Kirsten's parents divorced and she and her brother stayed
with their mom. Growing up with an artistic mother, she decided
that she wanted to become an actress. The family moved to Los
Angeles to help Kirsten pursue her career.
She dated the son of Dustin Hoffman, Jake Hoffmann
Kirsten won an MTV Award in 1995 for Breakthrough Performance.
She competed with and beat out Christina Ricci for her roles
in Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles (1994) and
Little Women (1994)
Appears in the Savage Gardens video "I Knew I Loved You".
Kirsten was one of People Magazine's 50 Most Beautiful People
Her parents are separated. She currently lives with her mother
Inez, and brother Christian in Southern California.
She is working on her own production company called "Wooden
Spoon Productions" with her mother The name was inspired
by her grandmother and refers to women and creativity.
